A premium gas grill costs more than a big-box model and usually adds heavier construction, longer warranties, and extras like infrared burners. This comparison lines up one 4-burner propane grill each from Napoleon, Weber, and Broil King, all available on Amazon.
How We Chose
We compared 4-burner freestanding propane grills between about $1,180 and $1,600 from Napoleon, Weber, and Broil King, all available on Amazon. Several premium models were left out because the offers we found were from third-party sellers, including Weber Summit and some Weber Genesis configurations, the Napoleon Prestige, and Blaze. The grills are not identical. Only the Napoleon has an infrared side burner, and the Weber has no side burner at all, so each spec cell names its source: the manufacturer’s page where it gave a value for the model, and the Amazon listing otherwise. Broil King’s own page for the Regal S 420 Pro lists model 956314 (propane), so its burners, output, area, grates, weight and warranty come from that page. The weights are not measured the same way (Napoleon gives a shipping weight), so we do not rank the three on weight. We did not use figures from unrelated products that appear on the same page. Where a listing did not state a warranty, we checked the manufacturer’s own website. Weber’s warranty page does not name the E-415 and Napoleon’s 15 Year Warranty page names the Rogue PRO series rather than the 525 model. Broil King’s own page did not offer the propane version for sale when we checked, while Amazon.com did. This is a researched comparison, not a hands-on test, so we make no claims about heat evenness or durability beyond what the listings and manufacturers say. Prices are Amazon prices checked in September 2026 and can change.

If you want the lowest price and an infrared burner, the Napoleon is the pick. If you want Weber build features like Flavorizer bars and cast-iron grates, the Genesis E-415 costs only $20 more than the Napoleon. If you want stainless grates, the Broil King has them, at $400 to $420 more. The manufacturers’ pages put the Napoleon at 62,000 BTUs and 851 sq in, the Weber at 48,000 BTUs and 820 sq in, and the Broil King at 50,000 BTUs and 695 sq in, but the areas are not all measured the same way, and we did not test any of them.
