Privacy Policy

What information this site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This policy explains what information Inside Out Home Reviews (insideouthomereviews.com) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

  • Messages you send us. If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you enter, and we use them only to reply to you.
  • Basic server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site, which pages they read, and how they find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site, and it sends that information to Google. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site. Learn more in how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Your choice. Google Analytics is off by default. It loads only if you click Accept in the banner that appears on your first visit. Your choice is saved in your browser (in local storage, not a tracking cookie) for 180 days, and you can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Declining removes any Analytics cookies we set. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline.

We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not sell your personal information. Administrators who log in to manage the site also receive login cookies.

Affiliate links and Amazon

Many links on this site go to Amazon and include our affiliate tag. When you click one, Amazon may set its own cookies and collect information under Amazon’s Privacy Notice. We do not receive your personal information from Amazon. We only see aggregate reports of clicks and qualifying purchases. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more.

Third-party services

  • Hosting. The site is hosted by Hostinger, which processes visitor requests on our behalf.
  • Fonts. Our fonts are hosted on this site, so your browser does not contact Google to load them.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics, provided by Google, measures site traffic as described above, and only if you accept it.
  • Search tools. We use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to monitor how the site appears in search results. It does not place tracking on your visit.
  • Forms. Our contact form is provided by the WPForms plugin running on our own site.
  • Site security. The Wordfence Security and Limit Login Attempts Reloaded plugins run on our own site to block malicious traffic and limit repeated failed logins. They record IP addresses and details of login attempts and blocked requests, and we use that only to protect the site. Wordfence also takes part in its security network, so information about blocked attacks, such as the IP address involved, may be shared with its provider, Defiant, to help protect other sites.

Comments

Comments are turned off on this site, so we do not collect comment data.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to us through our contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights over your personal information, and we will honor valid requests.

Children

This site is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
