A premium air purifier usually adds app control, sealed filtration, and a quieter design. This comparison looks at four models from Blueair, Coway, and Dyson, all available on Amazon, from about $340 to about $1,100. They are not all the same type of product, so the differences matter.
How We Chose
We compared four air purifiers from Blueair, Coway, and Dyson that are available on Amazon. We left out other Dyson models, such as the Purifier Cool PC1 and PC2. This is a comparison of a higher price class than our earlier Best Air Purifiers for Living Rooms guide, and it is not an exact match: the Blueair and Coway are large-room purifiers, the Dyson Big+Quiet is a large-format purifier, and the Dyson HP2 is a purifier that also heats and cools as a fan, so it is a different type of product. Prices run from about $340 to about $1,100. Coverage is given in different ways on the listings (minutes to clean a room, or hourly coverage), so we list the numbers as given; Dyson prints a coverage figure only for the Big+Quiet (264 sq ft). Noise levels come from each manufacturer’s page and may be measured differently by each brand; Dyson’s figures for the BP03 come from its commercial page. Blueair prints the SP4i name as Blue Signature Large. Where a listing did not state a warranty, we checked the manufacturer’s own website. Blueair and Coway list terms by product line rather than by model name, and Dyson lists terms by product category. This is a researched comparison, not a hands-on test, so we make no claims about how well any of them cleans the air. Prices are Amazon prices checked in September 2026 and can change.

Check Price on Amazon →Our Take
If you want a large-room purifier at the lowest price, the Blueair lists the quietest low setting and the lowest cost. If you want the largest stated coverage and a stated 5 year warranty, the Coway lists both. If you want a Dyson, the HP2 adds heating and fan use for $699.99, and the Big+Quiet costs $1,099.00 and lists a 5 year filter. Because Dyson prints a coverage area only for the Big+Quiet, we could not compare room size across all four, and we did not test any of them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these air purifiers the same type of product?
No. The Blueair and Coway are large-room purifiers, the Dyson HP2 is a purifier that also heats and works as a fan, and the Dyson Big+Quiet is a large-format purifier. We note the type in the table so you can compare fairly.
Why are other Dyson models not included?
We limited the guide to two Dyson models, the HP2 and the Big+Quiet, so each brand is compared fairly against the Blueair and Coway. Dyson makes other purifiers that are not covered here.
What warranty do these air purifiers have?
Dyson lists 2 years on its product pages. Coway lists 5 years on motor and electronic parts. Blueair lists 1 year, extended to 3 years for the Blue Signature line if you register within 60 days. Filters are excluded or covered only briefly by all three manufacturers.
How is room coverage measured on these listings?
Blueair gives minutes to clean a room and hourly coverage, Coway gives square feet in 60 minutes, Dyson prints a coverage area only for the Big+Quiet (up to 264 sq ft), and the HP2 listing did not state one in the fields we checked. Because the methods differ, we list the numbers as given.
